On Wednesday 15th November, members of Metropolitan Council gathered for their meeting. Unfortunately, the Worshipful Master was taken ill on the day and so was unable to attend. However, W. Bro. Jeremy Shaw stepped in at late notice and conducted the ceremony in fine style. The council conducted the Red Cross of Babylon Degree for three visiting candidates, Bro. Clint Childs, Bro. Kevin Law and Bro. Matthew Bagatta. Jeremy took the chair for the Royal Arch portion of the ceremony before W. Bro. Roger Keys took over in the Persian Court. The lecture was given splendidly by W. Bro. Mike Atkins.

The Council was close and we retired to the Hertfordshire room for a most enjoyable festive board before we toasted to our next merry meeting.
