Saturday May 4th the only London Council that meets on a weekend met at its usual venue of Mark Masons’ Hall.

Starting at 11am the first main job was to admit four new members to the order. The second main order of business was to work the degree, “Grand Tilers of Solomon.” This Degree is extremely dramatic, set in the secret vault beneath the Temple. It reflects on the danger of hasty judgment. Plus has the longest knocks of any degree I know!

After finishing a few usual masonic admin items on the agender the Council was closed by 12.15pm ready for refreshments and a light festive board luncheon.
