Goose & Gridiron Council - Welcomes District Grand Junior Warden

On Saturday 15th October 2022 The Goose & Gridiron Council No.275 welcomed W. Bro. Vincent Fattorusso, District Grand Junior Warden to their meeting.

At the meeting W. Bro. Paul Asante was installed as Worshipful Master, who then appointed and installed his officers for the ensuing year.

The degree of Knight of Constantinople was then conducted to admit as a Knight of Constantinople Bro. Stuart McGhie.

The Brigadier Galloway Council - Welcomes District Grand Secretary

On Friday 14th October The Brigadier Galloway Council No. 126 welcomed W. Bro. Scott Cargill, District Grand Secretary to their meeting. At the meeting they also welcomed to the order Bro. Christopher Griggs who was admitted as a Brother of St. Lawrence the Martyr.

W. Bro. Roderick Bradley was then installed as the 31st Master of the Council, who then appointed and installed his officers, before closing the council meeting. Members and guests then retired to enjoy a splendid festive board.

Britannic Council of Madeira - New Member and a New Master

On Thursday 29th September the Britannic Council of Madeira No 46 met on a re-arranged day due recent train strikes.

It was a busy meeting with St Lawrence the Martyr being conducted by W.M. Richard Criddle to welcome Bro. Edmond Tondu into the order. Bro. Edmond had flown over from his home in Bolivia for this special occasion.

W. Bro. Scott Cargill then took the chair as Ill. Potentate to conduct the Ceremony of Knight of Constantinople (or as the Senior Conductor put it Constantititinonople!). Bro. Neil Miller and Bro. Edmond Tondu were both admitted in fine style as Knights of Constantinople.

With 2 degrees under their belt the Council then moved onto the Installation ceremony to install W. Bro. Bryan Wakely as Master for the ensuing year. This was conducted in fine manner by W. Bro. Richard Criddle. The new Worshipful Master then installed his officers and closed the Lodge.

The brethren, then enjoyed a joyful festive board consisting of Dorset Crab, Roasted Monkfish and Honeycomb Cheesecake, all washed down with some very fine wine. Toasts were made before finally they raised their glasses to their next merry meeting.

Rose & Lily Council No.15 welcomes District Grand Senior Warden

On Wednesday 28th September, members of Rose & Lily Council No. 15 met at Mark Masons' Hall. They welcomed the District Grand Senior Warden W. Bro. Peter Warner PGStB who was accompanied by a delegation of District Grand officers.

A solemn moment of respect was then shown for the passing of our late Queen.

The Council then proceeded to install Bro. Christos Bardas into the Chair. Ably performed by the outgoing Master W. Bro. Seirios Kokkalis. W. Bro. Bardas then appointed and installed his officers.

The brethren then retired to the holding area (aka the bar) before enjoying a splendid festive board. Toasts and fire followed before all bid farewell until their next merry meeting.
